Hey all so i have been in Thailand for about a week and its great!! The time change wasn't that bad to get accustomed to.. right now it is 4 in the afternoon which means its about 2 am where you are.. anywho the first day i took it slow ans went to the mall and hung out and got to ride in a tuk tuk which is like a three wheeled scooter type of thing-- its great.. I got to go to a snake show where i got to take a pic with a huge snake- i thought it was going to bite my head off!! i also went to an aquarium which was lots of fun-- ya for fishies and penguins!! we also went to a zoo which was lots of fun.. but super duper hot and humid-- soo sticky but we got to feed a polar bear, a giraff and even take pics with baby tigers and an orangutan.. and then i got to go see a movie and play pool and bowl with nate and his cousin.. Dad you would be soo proud i kicked his butt in 8 ball-- I won and he hadn't even hit one in yet!! awww yea!!
then yesterday Nate and Net's uncle who is like the nicest man ever took us to the floating market which is like an hour and a half drive away.. basically its a big market where people sell stuff on boats and you rent a boat to go through the market-- it was really hot but really cool and interesting-- they were selling all the normal touristy crap but the fruit and noodles i got were amazing.. oo and nate's uncle bought me one of those hats-- i can't remember the name but i got to wear it the whole time it was awesome.. then we went home to take a shower and cool off before his uncle picked us up again for a night cruise.. we got to go on a really nice boat that served dinner and took us down the chao praya river and along the way it went past like wat arun and the grand palace which were lit up at night and gorgeous!!! we also went underneath this amazing bridge ..unfortunately my camera's batteries decided to die that night so i didnt get that many pics-- but nate got some so i will steal them from him-- basically it was amazingly gorgeous and i am glad i got to go.. today we had planned to go to the national museum and grand palace but the museum was closed so we went to jim thompson's house instead.. It was really interesting to see the fusion of thai and western architecture and design and it was gorgeous... all the woodwork was amazing and the plants outside were even better-- then we came to where i am now the mall in a hair salon with free internet!! yaya!! i got a ten dollar hair cut which is really good thats a shampoo, cut and blow dry-- pretty darn good for 300 baht...later today we are headed to pattaya a beach town a couple hours from here where i can work on my tan-- then we will head down south to the real tropical beaches before we head up north and back to bangkok so i can go to the museum and grand palace.. i don't know when i will be able to write again-- but right now the tri[ is amazing and i am having a blast and i have some great pics to show you all -- hope all is well-- and when i find postcards ill like ill hopefully be able to send them out-- dont think i forgot you i just havent found any yet..

I always wanted to visit this exotic country. I'm glad that you had a really great trip. Me and my family just came home from a trip we took to Thailand for two weeks for sun, bath and relax. Compared to many other countries, Thailand is still unspoiled and yet poised for development. Thailand property is very affordable. The country still exudes a special charm even as visitors numbers increase as Thailand's tourist industry thrives. Thailand is an amazingly beautiful place. Love the design esthetic. And the food is my very, very favorite in the world
